Wit Bogusławski

Wit Bogusławski was born in Warsaw in 1960, and received his education at the University of Fine Arts Mimar Sinan-Istanbul (1982-86) and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1986-87) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (1987-91). In 1991 he obtained a diploma in sculpture in the studio of prof. Leon Podsiadły.

He usually works in metal and stone, welding individual parts, creating spatial installations of various dimensions. The largest spatially installations are a series of 2-3-meter sculptures for external presentation (Faces cycle).

He belongs to the Association of Polish Artists, the Art Factory Association and a group of painters associated in the Hoover Group. He took part in many group and individual exhibitions, his works (sculptures and paintings) are in art galleries and private collections.
