Władysław Talarczyk
Władysław Bartek Talarczyk was born in 1949 in Czarny Potok near Łąck. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, specializing in artistic fabric, obtained from prof. Stefan Gałkowski in 1979.
He practices easel painting, unique fabric, pastel. His painting is fairy-tale, nostalgic, colorful, mythical, full of unreal existence, magical events, arranged, without chaos and fear, full of a warm and kind look at people. And the angels painted by him have the faces of daughters - Kasia and Irena. Parallel to his own work, he conducts therapeutic art workshops for the elderly.
In 2009, Władysław Bartek Talarczyk was awarded the "Honoris gratia" Medal for outstanding and special services for the city of Krakow, and in 2010 he received the Special Award in the field of culture of the Council and Board of the XI-Podgórze Duchackie District.
Bartek Talarczyk took part in 40 collective exhibitions, 25 individual exhibitions: in France, Germany, USA, South Africa, Denmark, Sweden; his biography can be read in the Great Universal Encyclopedia.
