Zbigniew Gonciarz lives and works in Warsaw. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1984. He began his painting education in the studio of prof. Jacek Sempoliński in 1979 and graduated from the studio of prof. Jana Dziedziory in 1984. The following year he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art.
On a daily basis, he deals with easel painting, and his area of interest is primarily human (mainly female).
His paintings are found in collections in Poland and, among others, in Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and the USA.
