Zygmunt Rytka
He was born in 1947 in Warsaw, died in 2018 in Sokołowsko. Polish intermedia artist. From the beginning of the 1980s, he was associated with the Mała Galeria ZPAF in Warsaw. In the years 1970–1980 he was involved in the documentation of artistic life. A series on this subject that was created at that time was entitled Next to Art. In the 1970s he made experimental films and in the 1980s videos. Since the 1980s, he has been associated with the independent community in Łódź - initially with Kultura Zrzuty, then with Galeria Wschodnia, and with the FF Gallery in Łódź. Decorated with the Gloria Artis Silver Medal for Merit to Culture, in 2011 he was awarded the Katarzyna Kobro.
