The subject of the painting is a conversation between three women. This work refers to the series of paintings and prints "Double Portraits", although this time there are three or even four portraits. The image is a bit epic; in the second (and third - dimmed) plan we have additional characters and you can add an anecdote to the picture and place this scene in some historical (or maybe modern) context.
