Intentions, 2021

I named this painting "Intentions". Intentions play an important role in our lives, determining our direction, motivation, and outcomes. Awareness and management of them are key components of personality development and achieving success. Our intentions can attract events, people, and resources into our lives that align with those intentions. Positive intentions can create positive changes, while negative intentions can attract undesirable results. This underscores the importance of conscious choice and directing our thoughts. Therefore, I depicted a woman deep in thought. Fire represents duality; it can both save and destroy life. The painting is visually divided into "bright and dark sides" - fire and smoke. The bright, vivid side symbolizes all that is bright and positive, while the smoke represents all that is dark within a person. Which side the viewer takes and what intentions they have is their personal choice.
