I Am Sleeping is a metaphorical painting about a beautiful woman who is overwhelmed by her beauty, and for this reason she has to lie down for a while. Although the subject is nostalgic, seemingly trivial, the means of expression used, however, cause its specific dynamics. Contrasting spots and quick brushstrokes, as well as the author's characteristic line, give the work originality. The whole is maintained in a palette of monochromatic colors such as beige, brown and white.
