Cubism in Casablanca, or the 52nd Auction of New Art
Where is the best view of Manhattan from? How to get the most reluctant to dance? What is the mysterious big eye looking at? Where to find an enchanted garden full of peonies? We will answer all your questions on June 11, on an exciting auction evening. We are starting at 7:30 pm at the Art in House Auction House (Aleje Jerozolimskie 107, Warsaw) – we strongly encourage you to participate in the 52nd New Art Auction!
In the catalog you will find a large group of paintings that will fill you with a new dose of energy thanks to their strong colors and compositions: among them Wojtek Brewka’s fighting twins, Joanna Mieszko’s bird’s eye view of Opole, Krzysztof Ludwin’s Sicilian canzone, Anna Malinowska’s bird bay, David Schab’s Chinese lanterns, egoistic Joanna Szumska’s asylum, a thoughtful lover of Marcin Painta’s parrots, Urszula Kozieł’s lively abstraction and Radosław Sowiak’s spatial checkers.
Thinking about sentimental people and those who miss the world of children, we have prepared proposals from Paulina Góra, Aleksandra Lacheta, Nely Lukashyk, Grzegorz Skrzypek, Aleksander Yasin, Grzegorz Walter and Elżbieta Ostrowska-Łysak. The longing for old art will be soothed by angelic Sylwia Perczak, Dutch Campio, academic Jan Dubrowin and Maria Kucia Albin in the trompe l’oeil style.
On the last pages of the catalog you will see the proposals of the sculptors cooperating with us: the brave papal guardsman Arek Szweda, love torn by the wind by Adam Kołakowski and two rusalkas by Jacek Opała and Joanna Brudzińska.
All the artworks will be on display during the pre-auction exhibition at the Art in House Auction House (Aleje Jerozolimskie 107, Warsaw), from June 7 to the auction day, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
