Faces of the Night. Wojciech Pelc and Krzysztof Płonka.
This year’s Night of Museums – we invite you to our gallery at the Olympic Centre for the opening of an exhibition featuring two artists collaborating with Art in House.
Wojciech Pelc, a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, skillfully explores themes of human nature and impulse in his works. Krzysztof Płonka, a versatile multimedia artist, constructs his avant-garde pieces with thought and precision.
Both artists work across multiple media in search of the most fitting form of expression. However, for this exhibition, and not by coincidence, only Wojciech Pelc’s paintings will be presented alongside Krzysztof Płonka’s sculptures. This juxtaposition is intended as an exploration of human truths and the inner self in confrontation with the surrounding world. The artists use techniques such as deformation, agitation, and references to the extraterrestrial to achieve this effect.
The exhibition will be open until May 27, but due to the special attractions we’ve prepared for this coming Saturday, May 17, we especially encourage you to visit on that unique day!
