Picasso-Rodin: two art galleries in two locations
The exhibition of two art galleries in two places – the Picasso Museum and the Rodin Museum – is to create a dialogue between the creative process of the painter and sculptor. It will be held from September 15, 2020 to March 14, 2021.

The artistic similarities between the two men are already known, but this exhibition will reveal new common features, such as series work, experimentation and a tendency to distort the form, which show that the two artists have experienced similar stages of their artistic journey.
Both Parisian institutions – the Picasso Museum and the Rodin Museum – collected works to prepare this double, unusual art gallery: a gallery of paintings and sculptures. It will be a great opportunity to trace similarities in the approach to the creative work of a painter and sculptor. At the Rodin Museum we will see works that show the similarities of two famous artists in imaging the surrounding reality. In turn, at the Picasso Museum you will be able to see the “more intimate” world of two artists: their studios and the works of art created in them.
