The 1st Sacrum Profanum Auction is behind us!
The 1st Sacrum Profanum Auction is behind us. The total sum of sales, including the auction fee, amounted to – with forty works in the catalog – an impressive amount of PLN 191,632! We would like to thank all the artists and bidders.
The Friday evening of September 11 was very exciting for us – that day the first edition of the Sacrum Profanum auction took place at the Auction House and Online Art in House Gallery in Warsaw. The auction catalog includes forty works that are extraordinary in their message, in many cases oscillating somewhere between the sacred and the profane.
Among the record holders of this art auction at the Art in House Auction House are Tomasz Górnicki and his sculpture “False Prophet”, which reached the price of PLN 17,000, as well as “Sinner” by Wojciech Brewka, which was auctioned for PLN 16,000. The works by Borys Fiodorowicz “Mazel Tov” (PLN 13,000) and Wojciech Pelc’s “Lucifer” (PLN 9,500) also achieved a high auction price.
