Who is Kasia? VI Auction – A New Generation for Collectors
Who is Kasia? Why is the little boy stubbornly standing in the chair? How to portray an Apache? Where is the best place to drink coffee in Monastir? We will answer these and other questions on November 6 at 19:30 at the 6th Auction – New Generation for Collectors at the Art in House Auction House (Al. Jerozolimskie 107, Warsaw). For security reasons, we encourage you to bid remotely – online or by phone.

In the November catalog, we collected works by recognized artists who appeared on the Polish art market after 1989 and can boast of numerous artistic successes in Poland and around the world. The presented paintings and sculptures are a bit more difficult to perceive, while at the same time they are decorative, which allow us to perceive them as an aesthetic element of the surrounding interior.
In the catalog you will find works in strong, eye-catching colors: a girlish portrait of Zofia Błażko, a three-dimensional composition by Bartosz Kokosiński, abstract “transitions” by Tomasz Kopcewicz, life in the hustle and bustle (in the Hopi language called “koyaanisqatsi”) by Łukasz Patelczyk, yellow brush strokes by Jasiek Balcerzak or Sebastian Krok with the modern language of advertising.

You will find the subtlety of compositions and colors in a double portrait by Dorota Kuźnik, the minimalist “Lanterns” by Ilona Herc, a visit to the Mateusz Maliborski museum, Bartek Otocki’s sky zeppelin or a geometric painting by Anna Panek.
Among the sculptures you will see the therapeutic “Laser therapy” by Monika Dąbrowska-Picewicz, a characteristic bronze figure by Tomasz Koclęga and an expression of individualism in a small body, i.e. a portrait of Tomasz Górnicki’s son.
