XXXVI New Art Auction – more successes!

Last Friday, October 27, 2019, the next, thirty-sixth New Art Auction was held at the Art in House auction house in Warsaw. As usual, almost all the works that were available in our auction catalog were sold. Congratulations to lucky buyers and authors of auctioned paintings and sculptures!

 

Successful art auction

Last Friday the XXXVI New Art Auction was held in Warsaw. As usual, all works were auctioned at a rate of 1000 zlotys, and participants could participate in the art auction both in person, online and by phone. Almost all works found their new owners. The hole amount of sales, including the auction fee, was PLN 297,596!

 

Once again, Tomasz Kostecki was the record holder of the art auction at the Art in House Auction House. His “Woman with callas” was auctioned for PLN 28,000! The auction of the painting by Wojciech Brewka entitled “Rookies” – a lucky buyer bid it for PLN 21,000. Further record holders at this art auction are Andrejus Kovelinas and his work “Into the yellow”, sold for PLN 18,000, and the work of Marzena Machaj, who debuted at the art auction at the Art in House Auction House. The painting “The Beginning” of this author was purchased for PLN 15,000. Edward Dwurnik and his “Red Tulips” came in fifth place in terms of price achieved – the painting was auctioned for PLN 10,000.

It is worth remembering that in November the Art in House Auction House is planning another, unique art auction. It will be the Third Auction of Contemporary Classics, which will take place on Friday evening November 15, 2019 at the headquarters of the Auction House (Al. Jerozolimskie 107, Warsaw).
