Agnieszka Borkowska

Agnieszka Borkowska (born 1978) graduated with distinction from the Academy of Fine Arts. Władysław Strzemiński in Łódź at the Faculty of Visual Education. She deals with painting, and her works intertwine various painting styles: next to refined, realistic fragments, we also have parts treated concisely. The most common motif in her works is a woman shown in various forms. The artist has been nominated and distinguished many times in national competitions (including the award of the Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus University, the Biennale of Small Painting Forms, Galeria Wozownia, Toruń 2010 and the 1st prize in the "Sacrum in Art" competition, Wadowice 2005). Her works are in private collections in Poland and abroad, as well as in the collections of the National Museum in Gdańsk.
