Andrzej Folfas
He was born in 1948. In the years 1963-1967 he attended the renowned High School of Fine Arts named after Antoni Kenar in Zakopane, which he graduated under the supervision of professors Władysław Hasior, Tadeusz Brzozowski and Antoni Rząsa. Then he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow at the Faculty of Interior Design under prof. Józef Ząbkowski, Tadeusz Kutermak, Bernard Braun, Marian Sigmund.
The artist was awarded by the Minister of Culture the Silver Cross of Merit and the Distinction of the City of Krakow as a distinguished cultural and art activist. His paintings are in the National Museum and Historical Museum of the City of Krakow as well as public and private collections in the country and abroad, he took part in numerous exhibitions in Germany, France, Sweden and Austria.
