Andrzej Olczyk was born in 1956 in Sosnowiec. He studied in the studio of Jerzy Jędrysiak, specializing in linocut. He obtained his diploma in 1986. Since then, he has been involved in linocut and painting. The artist took part in competition exhibitions: Józef Gielniak in Jelenia Góra, the Polish Woodcut and Linocut Quadrennial, small graphic forms and bookplates in Malbork, Gliwice, Ostrów Wielkopolski, Kielce. His works also participated in foreign exhibitions, including: in Maastricht, Boston, Rome. Andrzej Olczyk also participated in many individual and collective exhibitions.
