Barbara Karpiel

BARBARA KARPIEL – born in 1988 r. in Nowy Sącz, Poland. In the years 2007-2009 studied at the Painting Deartment of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (prof. Wiesław Szamborski’s Studio). Since 2009, continued her studies at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, at the Prof. Leszek Misiak’s Studio. Graduated with honors for the best students in May 2012. Lives and creates in Kraków, Poland.

2022 – (XII) II Prize in Polish Design Competition for Krakow’s Christmas Poster, Kraków, Poland.
2017 – (IX) Audience Award and the Finalist of the Antalis Design Awards National Graphic Competition, Warsaw, Poland.
2013 – (I) Award of the Association of Friends of Fine Arts in Kraków. The award received for Poster
series designed for a Diploma Annex, Kraków, Poland.
2012 – The Finalist of the II. Young Art Review Fresh Blood, Socato Art Gallery, Wrocław, Poland.
