Born in Poland, where she graduated and received an architect's diploma
at the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology. Then she left Poland to France, where she worked in architectural studios, later as
freelance designer. She started sculpting in 1980. She studied at Ecole de
Beaux Arts in Paris and in the studio of the sculptor Rene Coutelle. He's working
mainly in stone, but also in wood and bronze.
