Czesław Trzciński

Czesław Trzciński, born in 1952 in Wrocław, painter, mountaineer. Beginning of studies in 1973 at the State Higher School of Fine Arts with prof. Gołkowska. In the 1970s, he was a member of the "Group of Artists" composed of artists and poets operating at the Society for the Protection of Majdanek. In the 1980s, a few years' stay in Western Europe. It is influenced by the Brücke Group, the Bauhaus style, its modernism and expressionism. He paints realistically with a combination of expressionism, in his paintings we see clear contours with pure colors, female nudes are blended into the background, monumentality and free treatment of color.
