Edward Kociański

A graduate of the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Rzeszów. Studies at the Institute of Art Education at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin - 1986. Diploma under the supervision of Professor Danuta Kołwzan-Nowicka in the graphics studio, Institute of Artistic Education. He practices drawing and painting. Member of the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Przemyśl and president of the Association of Art Culture Creators in Mielec. He has had several dozen collective exhibitions (Ukraine, France, Hungary, Germany, USA, Warsaw, Lublin, Krosno, Przemyśl, Krasiczyn, Rzeszów, Mielec, Dukla, Strzyżów, Stalowa Wola, Tarnów, Kolbuszowa, Łańcut) and 25 individual exhibitions (Mielec , Dukla, Przemyśl, Rzeszów, Bełchatów, Kraków, Lohne-Niemcy, Pieniężno, Szymbark, Dębica, Radom, Tarnobrzeg, Krosno, Iwonicz Zdrój, Jarosław, Nowa Dęba, Kolbuszowa). Finalist of the "Picture of the Year" Art&Business in 2001, in 2006 third prize in the National Review of Art Teachers, in 2007 the prize of the Marshal of the Małopolska Voivodeship at the International Biennial of Pedagogical Works in Tarnów. Awarded in 1994 by the mayor of Mielec and in 2004 by the Board of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship for activities and achievements in the artistic field.
