Ewa Forest

I like observing all around me and finding connections between man, nature and the universe. I am fascinated by the great diversity of forms and at the same time their repeatability at different scales and time. Metaphysical topics, subtle energies and the spirit that permeates us and everything around us are close to me. In the past, my works were inspired by folk art, the world of fairy tales, old tales and myths. Over time, there is more and more realism in them, but there are still many metaphors and symbols in my works. I don't like to limit myself to one technique or way of painting, I like my variability and I create in several favorite trends.

Bio:

Ewa Forest (Grzegorczyk) Born in 1978. in Cracow. She took her first artistic steps under the supervision of Mira Skoczek-Wojnicka and prof. Z. Bajek, studied at the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, at the Faculty of Art and Pedagogy, diploma in painting (2006) with prof. Jerzy Wroński. She has been cooperating with many festivals, organizations and galleries in Poland and abroad for years, exhibiting her works, making workshops and participating in various forms of artistic activities. Her works are in private collections in Poland and abroad (including Germany, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, Norway).
