Izabela Bajda
I was born in Szczecin, where I graduated from the Art High School. Continuing my artistic education, I chose to study graphic design at the University of Applied Arts. In 2006, I completed my diploma under the supervision of Prof. Grzegorz Marszałek and Prof. Leszek Żebrowski. Fascinated by photography, I decided to expand my skills by pursuing postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Photography.
For many years, I lived in Warsaw, where I worked as a photographer and graphic designer. My professional work included photographic documentation of numerous state events, including ceremonies with the participation of the country's most important figures and foreign delegations. Photojournalism has always been one of my greatest passions, which I have successfully developed.
However, my artistic interests go far beyond photography – I have always been close to painting and ceramics. In my paintings, I draw inspiration from Art Deco and Cubism, combining geometric forms with a minimalist approach. In graphic design, I particularly enjoy working with vector techniques, which can also be seen in my paintings.
I am the author of many graphic design projects for books, logos, and promotional materials created in collaboration with various institutions. My works have been presented at numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Poland and abroad.
Since 2023, I have lived near Zielona Góra, where I continue my artistic journey, developing my passions and seeking new inspirations. The opening of my exhibition at the Philharmonic is a special opportunity for me to present my work to a wide audience and invite them into my world full of colors, shapes, and emotions.
