Jean-Claude Plewniak ("Mark Renton")
Jean-Claude Plewniak, pseudonym Mark Renton, was born in 1981. He studied in Italy and Spain. He graduated from the Faculty of Conservation of Fine Arts at the University of L'Aqula with a Ph.D. Currently lives and works in Warsaw. He presents his works at individual and collective exhibitions both in Poland and Italy. His favorite painting style is Suprematism and geometric abstraction, but he also likes to experiment with surrealism and action painting. He presents his works at individual and collective exhibitions both in Poland and Italy. Member of the Association of Polish Painters and Graphic Artists and the Warsaw Artists' Association. He took first place three times in the Piast Review of Visual Art: Interpretations in Black and White, receiving an award from Prof. Academy of Fine Arts Ryszard Sekuła.
