Krzysztof Kiwerski Born in 1948 in Poznań. In 1973 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, diploma in painting. From 1973 he was employed at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, and currently runs the Animation Studios as a full professor at the Intermedia Department. He practices painting, drawing, graphics and motion graphics, he has made 38 animated films, including 4 full-length. He took part in over 100 exhibitions, including in Poland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Japan and Austria. 50 individual painting exhibitions. For his painting work, he received, among others 2nd prize at the 7th Festival of Contemporary Polish Painting in Szczecin, "Silver and Bronze Medal" at the national exhibitions "Bielska Jesień", "Grand Prix" at the national exhibition "Krakow Meetings", Medal ST. Wyspiański at the Painting Salon, the Regulation Award at the 5th Sapporo Graphic Biennale, the "Grand Prix" at the International Art Triennial "Sacrum", decorated with the Silver Medal "Gloria Artis". Grand Prix at the exhibition of the 100th anniversary of ZPAP. Works in the collections of the National Museum in Krakow, Warsaw, Poznań, Szczecin, the Museum of the City of Łódź, the Ministry of Culture and Art, the Department of Culture and Art of the City of Krakow, BWA Krakow, Białystok Galleries, and in private collections in Poland and abroad.
