Maciek Zieliński

Born in 1977 in Legnica. He spent his childhood and school years in Tarnów. After graduating from high school, he began his studies in Kraków at the AGH University of Science and Technology. After two years, he abandoned technical studies and changed university to the Academy of Fine Arts. He studied graphic design at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in the studio of prof. Wojciech Regulski.

For many years he dealt mainly with graphic design, worked for advertising and interactive agencies and startups. He tried to intertwine commissioned topics with his own, more artistic projects - two series of surrealistic digital graphics/collages were created at the time.

After more than a decade of working in the advertising and interactive industry, he decided to put aside commercial, digital projects and returned to his own work. For several years he has been mainly engaged in painting. Trying various techniques, he gradually developed his favorite way of working, which is a combination of collage and acrylic painting.
