MAGDALENA LASKOWSKA

Magdalena Laskowska was born in 1985 in Warsaw. She is a graduate of the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received a diploma with honors in the painting studio of prof. Stanisław Baj and an annex from an illustration in the studio of Dr. Zygmunt Januszewski.

Magdalena Laskowska works in painting and photography, and has shown her works in many art galleries. She has participated in over 20 group exhibitions (including in Germany) and 7 individual ones. Finalist of many competitions, incl. several times: Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting (Szczecin), Bielska Jesienia (Bielsko-Biała), Triennial of Small Painting Forms (Toruń), winner of the 2011 Promotion (Legnica), distinction in the Potok Sztuki Competition (Sopot). Participant of the Warsaw Art Fair and the Art Fairs in New York and Bridgehampton (2019). Works, among others in the collection of the National Museum in Gdańsk, Department of Modern Art, and in the private collection of the President of the Republic of Poland Fed. German Horst Koehler.
