Magdalena Stoch

Magdalena Stoch was born in 1994 in Zakopane, Poland. She graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, completing her master’s degree in 2018 in the Department of Sculpture and Spatial Activities. She is the recipient of the Grand Prix in the 8th edition of the 'Fresh Blood' Young Art Review in the Spatial Forms category. She has participated in both solo and group exhibitions. Her work spans oil painting, small-scale sculpture, assemblage, and collage. She often works in series, including Psia Mać, Zdarzenia, Relaks, and Idol. Her creations include portraits, animal-themed works, landscapes, genre scenes, and abstract compositions. She draws inspiration from everyday life, naïve art, and pop culture. Humor is an important element in her work, and she places great emphasis on the titles of her pieces.
