Malwina Cieślik
Malwina Cieślik was born in 1975 in Radomsko. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Applied Sciences in Częstochowa (currently the J. Długosz University of Humanities and Natural Sciences). She completed her artistic diploma with distinction in the lithography studio under the supervision of dr hab. Krystyna Szwajkowska.
For several years she worked in the profession of architect, also dealing with easel painting, furniture renovation and other artistic projects.
Architectural and graphic education largely shaped her view of art. In his paintings he is constantly looking for different methods of expression.
She is mainly inspired by travels, surrounding space, music, good coffee, wind and water. He likes to paint places that are associated with memories and emotions. These are especially ports, sea landscapes and architecture of the cities visited.
Color savings, applying color with a putty knife and ubiquitous space motivate you to contemplate reality and yourself. The objects appearing in the paintings are only an emphasis on the space of existence, manifesting through the feeling: I live, breathe, love, feel. There are also thoughts of transience and longing, and fundamental questions about our place in the universe; "where are we from and where are we going?", despite the fact that you cannot see the man on the canvas. The painter's paintings do not overwhelm the details, give a place to breathe, leave the recipient a wide field to feel space, freedom and lack of restrictions.
