Marina Kuharczuk
My name is Marina Kuharczuk (Shelpuk), and I am a Belarusian-Polish artist specializing in abstract expressive painting. I was born in 1993 in Brest, Belarus, and have been drawn to art for as long as I can remember.
In 2012, I began my formal artistic education at the Institute of Art at the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, Poland. There, I studied graphic arts, immersing myself in both digital and traditional techniques. I graduated in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts.
During my studies, I took part in numerous art competitions and exhibitions, which helped me refine my own visual language — one that emphasizes bold color, rich texture, and dynamic composition.
Today, I live and work in Warsaw, where I continue to develop my artistic practice. My paintings are held in private collections across the United States, China, Poland, and Belarus.
My paintings explore the nature of the world around us. I use color, texture, and form as tools to convey unity in diversity. At first glance, my works appear as separate patches—vibrant, contrasting, and varied in structure and rhythm. Yet together, they form a cohesive whole, like a mosaic, a harmony within differences.
I extend this principle to the human world. Each person is unique, created by God with a distinct character, story, and purpose. We are separated by cultures, traditions, and perspectives, yet together we shape the collective image of humanity. Through interaction, we create something greater than the sum of individual elements.
Through my paintings, I strive to show that differences are not chaos, but richness. The world as I see it is a play of colors, textures, and forms, where opposites come together in harmony.
