DISPLAYS: Mariusz Maksel graduated from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Faculty of Fine Arts in Cieszyn.
His works explore themes of solitude, mystery, and the melancholy of urban spaces. The buildings, streets, and human figures depicted in his paintings reflect everyday life, alienation, and the dynamics of city existence.
He worked as an painting animator on the Oscar-nominated film Loving Vincent and also on the film Chłopi created in the same technique.
