Michał Słowikowski
Graduate of the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the years 2011-16. He defended his diploma thesis in painting in the studio of Prof. Krzysztof Wachowiak. He completed the graphic arts annex under the supervision of prof. Piotr Smolnicki. In the years 2011-15 he pursued figurative painting. After this period, i.e. in the year of defense, he moved away from the studio standards in favor of conceptual considerations. During his studies, he actively participated in many collective exhibitions at the Academy and outside the university. Awards and distinctions 2016 - Award of the Stefan Gierowski Foundation for the best diploma in painting technique 2016 - Distinction of MEP Ewa Tomaszewska for the best diploma. The diplomat's previous projects include: 2013 - 'Saper Memorial Monument' - a spatial activity in Edward Rydz-Śmigły Park, Warsaw; 2014 – The Picture of Dorian Gray - 'Świt' Cultural Center, Warsaw; 2015 - Night of Museums - Night of Museums - 2015 (ASP), Warsaw; 2016 – Diploma exhibition – Evangelical Augsburg Church, Lutheraneum, Warsaw.
