Oksana Bagriy

The artist was born in Kiev in 1985. She currently lives and works in Warsaw. She graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (rector's distinction, studio of prof. P. Smolnicki), with an annex from lithography (under Prof. Lenski) and an annex from painting (under Prof. P. Nowak). She is also a graduate of the Kiev State Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. In addition, she studied at the European Academy of Arts in the workshop (workshop graphics with Prof. R. Osadczy, painting with Prof. A. Fałat).

She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and the Young Art group of the Warsaw District ZPAP. He also coordinates projects for the promotion of young Polish artists, as well as multicultural projects.

Oksana Bagriy has received many awards and distinctions, including the Dean of the Graphic Arts Department of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts for the best graphics of the third quarter of 2013. She is a laureate of the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland under the "Gaude Polonia" program (2007).

The artist has participated in numerous exhibitions, such as: the 9th Student Graphic Biennale at the City Gallery Arsenał (Poznań), "Traces" in the "DAP" gallery, ZPAP OW in Warsaw, the collective exhibition "Jasinski & friends III" (National Theater in Warsaw) , in the 12th International Autumn Salon of Art (Ostrów Świętokrzyski) or XVII Deutsche International Grafik-Triennale Frechen (Frechen, Germany).
