Patrycja Godula

Patrycja Godula, born in Bielsko-Biała in 1989. In 2008 she graduated from the Julian Fałat State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Bielsko-Biała, specializing in Visual Advertising. She studied in Krakow at the Pedagogical University of the Commission of National Education, majoring in Artistic Education in the Field of Fine Arts, specializing in occupational therapy, obtaining a bachelor's degree in 2011. Then she began her master's studies at the same university and major, graduating with a Master of Arts diploma in the linocut studio of Prof. Jerzy Jędrysiak in 2013. In 2011, she simultaneously began her second studies at the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where in 2014 she defended her bachelor's degree in the field of Design - Glass Design. Then she continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in the same field under the name of Glass Art and Design, which she graduated in 2016, defending the title of Master of Arts and completing her diploma in two studios: diploma in the 2nd Studio of Applied Glass of Prof. Beata Mak- Sobota - the applied part, Studio of Glass in Architecture of Prof. Ryszard Więckowski - the artistic part. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists of the Bielsko-Biała District. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and several individual exhibitions. The full list of exhibitions is available on the artist's website. In 2013, she took first place in the international competition entitled "Glass Improvisation" in Piechowice. In 2017, she received the Bielsko-Biała City Scholarship in the field of culture and art. In the same year, she won a distinction in the competition during the 18th Festival of High Art, "Steel Angels" Gallery, Bytom. Then she participated as a member representing the Association of Polish Artists of the Bielsko-Biała district in a collective, international exhibition in Baia Mare, Romania. In 2018, she won first place in the national competition "Inspirations" of the Paleta Foundation, which was crowned with an individual exhibition at the Wieża Gallery in Warsaw. In 2020, she won a distinction in the online exhibition "Bele Noći / White Nights- MajdanArt 2020" MAJDANART gallery, Majdanpek, Serbia. In 2022, she again received the Scholarship in the Field of Culture and Art of the city of Bielsko-Biała.
