Piotr Urbanek

Piotr Urbanek loves the work of F. Fellini, he is inspired by knowledge from the border of palaeoastronautics, religion, metaphysics, in his works he ennobles the sphere of the sacred. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. J. Matejko in Krakow. In 2001, he obtained a diploma at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in the Gravure Printing Studio of prof. Stanisław Wejman - a series of colorful etchings entitled: 'Mitomania' (a series of paraphrases of Greek myths). He defended his PhD in fine arts with the thesis 'Horror Vacui, while awake and in dreams' at the Institute of Fine Arts of the J. Kochanowski University in Kielce.
