Zofia Lelek

Zofia Lelek is a graduate of the Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Interested in the philosophy and art of the Far East, she practices and teaches Tai Chi which is reflected in her work. The artist paints the human figure in movement and in meditation. In 2015, she defended her diploma in painting, in which she refers to the eastern art of ink painting; "The Contemplation of Movement" project is a rendering of Tai Chi gestures on paper. An important source of inspiration for her is nature and landscape as a source of peace and inspiration. The series of oil paintings depicting landscapes of Indochina is an attempt to capture the atmosphere of the Far East.
