The theme of the exhibition of works by Katarzyna Koltan and Jacek Opala is female portraits. Although the artists represent completely different artistic styles, each of the figures they depict is characterized by nostalgia and mystery. Katarzyna Koltan has chosen as a confidant of these secrets the unusual technique of egg tempera, which has its roots in antiquity. Jacek Opala, on the other hand, hides the mysteriousness of his sculptures in clay, which then undergoes a process of firing and glazing to show us its innermost qualities.
