Two herons, 2023

The work belongs to the series "Portraits of small and large animals".
The birds presented in the painting have some details other than real herons, but the author tried to give them a certain "personality". The inspiration for the painting were the designs of the set and puppets created by the author of this work, but also observations of real birds on lakes. This is an acrylic painting. An HDF 3 mm board was used as a support, which after priming gives a specific texture (almost impossible to make on canvas). The work is framed in a decent (custom-made) metal frame in silver. The format of the work itself is 90 x 100, and with the frame 90.5 x 100.5 cm.
