 This relic of Pope Joanna, also known as the snow vagina, made by hand using the cross-hatch technique on a taborek, was created in honor of Pope Joan, who, according to legend, spoiled the papal office for two years, five months and four days. And it went like this: An Englishwoman living in Mainz and her beloved went on a trip to Athens. There, while still disguised as a man, she concealed her gender, which allowed her to gain an extensive education. When she returned to Rome under the name John Anglicus, she became a cardinal and then head of the Catholic Church as John VIII.
