Coming out of the water, 2020

It can be assumed that the women presented in the painting, dressed in tight costumes, came out of the water and are having a sparse conversation. It is late afternoon and the orange light from the back is turning the shadows blue. The technique of juxtaposing thin lines with spots of intense color gives the effect of vibrating, bright light and deep, full complementary color shadows. Multi-layer application of paint works better on a hard surface (according to the author of the work); that is why a 3 mm HDF plate was used as a support, framed in a solid (custom-made) silver frame (optionally black) with a cross-section of 2 x 0.5 cm. Acrylic paints. The format of the work itself: 80 x 60, and with the frame: 81 x 61. The picture is ready to hang.
