Metropolis - vertigo, 2021

The title is, of course, an allusion to two film works. The author's intention was to convey the atmosphere of a night wandering, or perhaps a ride through the streets of a multi-million city. The texture of the painting is varied; large areas with a delicate, glaze character adjoin the areas covered with thicker layers of paint and with specific geometric lines. The colors are intense. High value contrasts; from luminous white to deep black. Acrylic on a solid linen canvas. The picture does not require a frame; side edges are painted over. The work belongs to the series "Metropolis - shining".
