Gazing.
The painting shows a figure standing on the beach, facing the sea. The colors are vivid and intense. The red scarf contrasts with the cool shades of the sky and water. The clouds in the sky are pastel colors, intertwined with blue and pink. The entire composition seems to float in summer intoxication.
The atmosphere is full of peace and nostalgia. We feel a gentle breeze and the sound of waves. Żejmo used expressive brushstrokes, which give the painting a dynamic, almost tangible feel. The painter opted for an impressionistic style with a hint of expression.
