Dariusz Żejmo
Dariusz Żejmo was born in Kożuchów in 1966. He lives permanently in Toruń, and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts (specialization - painting) at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He obtained his diploma in 1993 in the studio of prof. Janusz Kaczmarski. He is the author of hundreds of photo-graphics, works in oil painting, pastels, designs lamps and sculptures.
He is the author of illustrations and covers for several dozen books, a designer of publishing graphics, covers and illustrations for children's magazines. Awarded in 2000 and 2001. He received the DONGA Prize from the Children's Foundation for illustrations.
His works are, among others in "The Narrow Space" - Clonmel, Ireland, in "SHOW GALLERY" - Cork, Ireland, in "FRAME GALLERY" - Limerick, Ireland. He is a member of VISUAL ARTISTS IRELAND.
Last exhibition: at South Tiperrery Arts Center in Clonmel - Ireland. This year's collective exhibition at Rathaus Exibition in Stuttgart. Participation in the 4th International Antik & Kunst in Stuttgart - Sindelfingen. Germany. An exhibition of works from the series "Kobiata with a bird" in the STEEL FOREST gallery in Konstancin-Jeziorna.
