Blue River 3, 1998

The painting is inspired by the boat motif, a favorite motif in impressionist paintings. In my version of this theme, color and painterly gesture painting of boat on the river are the main theme: the blue of the sky and water contrasts with the  pink colour of the boat and coastal landscape. I painted this joyful motif associated with summer in an expressive and structural way.
