The Black Stone painting is one of the two highlights of the doctoral painting cycle entitled Stone as a symbol of a picture and a record of time.

Picture Black Stone is kulminaone of Stones - "silent witnesses of passing away" in the painterly deliberations, mysterious in their form, matter, substance and essence, through a broad cultural context and rich symbolism become expressions of the coherence of matter and spirit. They are peculiar time capsules, a history enchanted in stone, a record of elementary forms which, as inanimate, inanimate objects, become a multidimensional message from the past. They are about memory and persistence through their mysteriousness, timelessness and symbolism. They are the embodiment of strength, hardness, immutability, cohesiveness, longevity, vigor and inner harmony, while being in opposition a reflection of the negatively marked: indifference and indifference, silence, difficulties, sterility, death, pain. Illustrated by the artist in dynamic compositions on the border of abstraction, they represent the universal mechanisms of nature, they are a specific model of the universe at the micro and macro level of the scale.
