40th New Art Auction: follow the gentleman hare
Where will the gray hare in the cylinder lead us? If you do not lose sight of him, on March 13 at 19:30 you will find the 40th New Art Auction at the Art in House Auction House at Al. Jerozolimskie 107 in Warsaw. If the hare escapes, you’ll catch him by phone and online – and in addition to him 85 other interesting artifacts that will appear at the auction this evening!
One of the tasks of the March catalog of art auctions is the inauguration of the spring season at Art in House – that’s why we’ve gathered energetic, colorful compositions referring to the best time of the year. The Provence heat will bring Alice Kappa’s lavender field, yacht races in Manhattan will appear on Tomasz Kostecki’s canvas, Italian sloth will be seen by Krzysztof Ludwin, and cat friends Magda Kępka will guide us through the southern streets.
Wojtek Brewka and his ecologically engaged work will drag us into the dark zone at this art auction; Mariusz Zdybał will bring back the mysterious atmosphere of the Renaissance carnival; Agnieszka Sitko will show the unobvious beauty of the shrouds; Anna Kmita will pay attention to the somber side of femininity; Piotr Kamieniarz will talk about love stronger than death; Emil Goś will help us understand the charms of a predatory dinosaur, and Malwina de Brade will remind you of medieval fairy tales.
At the 40th New Art Auction, some of the works will appear in duets: Campio will put together a painting and a lamp (being the result of cooperation with the Beauty Bee workshop), Aurelia Sikiewicz-Wojtaszek will combine painting and sculpture, and classic diptychs will be presented by Piotr Trusik, Kamila Bednarska, Wojciech Pelc, Bogusław Fleck and Magdalena Karwowska.
The sculptures are dominated by ceramics: this medium created the goddess Jacek Opała, the missing figure of Marek Zyga, escaping from the corporation Ikar Arek Szweda and Don Quixote Mariusz Szewczyk. The mixed technique is presented in turn by the pegasus Kamila Karst.
We strongly encourage you to visit the Art in House Auction House during the pre-auction exhibition (March 9-13, 2020, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM). Our team will gladly tell you about any work from the catalog of the 40th New Art Auction.
