The light that permeates the paintings and sculptures is subtle, accentuating dense draperies, highlighting the figures wrapped within, and reflecting the darkness enveloping spatial forms. In the work of Anna Chorzępa-Kaszub and Joanna Roszkowska, past collides with future, nature intertwines with fantasy. Each piece tells a story of time, transience, and rebirth in a new form. Soft, dense draperies serve as both an aesthetic and symbolic bridge between humanity and the surrounding space. They encircle the figures, adding drama to the painted compositions. The sculptures deepen these embedded emotions; through their three-dimensional forms, one can glimpse reflections of intimate feelings—from a gentle twist that may suggest hesitation to rugged indentations that echo strength and determination.
