Thank you for 7. Auction – New Generation for Collectors
Last Friday, the seventh edition of the “New Generation for Collectors” art auction took place at the Art in House Auction House, where we showed the works of artists who appeared on the Polish art market after 1989. The New Generation means interesting biographies and unique art works, often already crystallized style.
The absolute record holder of this art auction at the Art in House Auction House was an early self-portrait in a white costume by Piotr Uklański, in which the author modeled himself on a painting by Jacek Malczewski – the work was auctioned for PLN 35,000! A great price (PLN 22,000) was also achieved by the painting “Be happy” by Wojciech Brewka, composed of nine small canvases, the telling sculpture “Blind love” by Tomasz Górnicki (PLN 17,000), a moving portrait of Zofia Błażko “Fire” (PLN 15,000) or one from Łukasz Patelczyk’s abstract compositions (PLN 15,000).
Almost all the auctioned works found their owners – we would like to thank all participants of the 7th Auction – New Generation for Collectors – artists, bidders and observers.
