Gallery of Konrad Hamada’s paintings in the Online Gallery Art in House – “Sunrise” (2020).
The painter is a very diverse artist: he creates oil and acrylic paintings, is a film director and screenwriter, he belongs to the Association of Polish Artists in the Krakow District. The dominant theme in his work is landscape, which the artist himself calls romantic.
These oil paintings resemble the work of Romantic painters, with a hint of magic that Konrad Hamada achieves thanks to the fog or sun rays penetrating the world of flora. These magical places distant from metropolitan climates are deprived of the presence of people, but also animals. There is peace and quiet in them. The remarkable, refined frames visible in these oil and acrylic paintings are certainly due to film and architectural education.

Inspirations of nature – romantic landscapes in oil paintings by Konrad Hamada
“The discovery of the landscapes of the Low Beskids, in particular the Magura National Park, was of key importance for my work. Painting and drawing accompany me all my life. Many years of fascination with the landscape ranging from the school of Barbizon painting, through studying the works of Polish masters painting the landscape – Fałat and Chełmoński – and then getting to know Russian realists with particular emphasis on Ivan Shishkin, it all led me to my own creative search and create a personal style that I would describe as a romantic landscape“, says Konrad Hamada in his film.
We encourage you to watch this beautiful production.
