Chris Bukalski
Chris Bukalski - born in January 1967 in Starachowice - artist painter - abstractionist, realist, hyperrealist, surrealist. An admirer of Salvador Dali.
He began his adventure with painting as a child, at the age of 10 he became interested in sketching - he drew portraits, still lifes, animals. At the age of 13, he explored the secrets of oil painting - portraits, landscapes, still lifes, animals, and later nudes.
From 1988 he belonged to the RSTK (Workers' Union of Culture Creators) in Starachowice. From 1989 to 1991 he polished the art of painting under the supervision of Wieńczysław Pyrzanowski - the last doctoral student of prof. Ludwik Maciag.
Its main trends are abstractionism and surrealism. His work has been included in several UK exhibitions. Many of his works have found their way into private collections, including in the United States, Japan, South Africa, Argentina, Great Britain and many other countries. Portraits painted by him and other commissioned works adorn the walls of houses in many corners of the world
