Adam Kołakowski
Adam Kołakowski was born in 1981. He is a graduate of the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. During his studies, his education included graphics, illustration, poster, painting and sculpture. He was a lab assistant in a woodcut workshop. He went on a scholarship to the University of Knoxville in the United States. His works have been shown to the public in Poland and abroad, gaining particular popularity among the American and Canadian Poles.
The artist's creative activities aim to show what is real. Kołakowski finds the deepest beauty in simplicity and in those details of life that are sometimes unnoticed, forgotten and pushed to the background. In his work, we will not meet the big city hustle and bustle. Kołakowski's artistic space is an idyllic and idyllic area, full of dreams and sentimentality.
